Official Notice: New History Elective Years 7­-10 Life Skills outcomes and content

History/Special Education teachers

 

New Life Skills outcomes and content for the History Elective Years 7–10 course are available for students with special education needs commencing in 2014. This will enable students for whom Life Skills is an appropriate option to undertake further study in History in addition to the mandatory curriculum requirements.

The Life Skills outcomes and content are framed around the three topics of the History Elective Years 7–10 course:

  • Constructing History
  • Ancient, Medieval and Early Modern Societies
  • Thematic Studies.

The new History Elective Years 7–10 Life Skills outcomes and content are available now to download from the syllabus section of the Board’s website.
