A delegation from the Chinese city of Xi'an visited BOSTES recently to discuss curriculum, assessment and teacher accreditation. The 14 delegates from the city’s Education Bureau, and principals from a number of primary and middle schools, met senior BOSTES staff to learn more about the NSW education system.

The delegates were particularly interested in how students are assessed, how teachers use assessment data to support student learning, and our primary curriculum and key learning areas. They also asked about our teacher accreditation processes.
