Shape HSC Showcase in Hunter
Showcasing projects by 24 of the best 2015 HSC Design and Technology, Industrial Technology and Textiles and Design students, Shape 2015 is coming to the Hunter.
This new Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards (BOSTES) showcase of exemplary HSC Technology projects is being held at the Wallsend District Library and opens on Tuesday 19 July.
Shape brings together projects from the previous DesignTECH showcase and the InTech and Texstyle showcases.
When Shape 2015 was launched earlier this year, Deputy Premier and Minister for the Arts, Troy Grant said: “In an era when innovation will be key to success, the crossover between form and function will be an increasing feature in future design. These students are an inspiration for their ingenuity and their imagination.”
BOSTES President Tom Alegounarias said: “The quality of designs showcased in the exhibition is testimony to students’ high order critical thinking and problem-solving skills developed through the NSW HSC Technology syllabuses. I congratulate exhibitors and their teachers on the creativity, dedication, and hard work put into these HSC projects.”
