With the end of the school year approaching, the checklist below is provided for schools to consider in preparation for 2012.

• All schools will continue to use the existing NSW K-12 syllabuses for 2012.
• Ensure that Official Notices have been distributed to relevant staff.
• Applications for registration and accreditation are due by 31 March 2012.
• Check the HSC syllabus page for any new or amended HSC syllabuses due to be implemented from 2012
• Distribute a copy of the 2012 HSC Rules and Procedures booklet to all 2012 HSC students.
• Ensure students have completed HSC: All My Own Work before submitting 2012 Preliminary or HSC course entries.
• Schools can enter their 2012 HSC students on Schools Online in Term 4, 2011. Preliminary entries will open in Term 1, 2012.
• Online applications for disability provisions for the 2012 HSC examinations open from 14 November 2011. Students must be entered for the HSC before an application for provisions can be lodged.
• Applications from school providers of courses for overseas students for approval are due by 31 March 2012.
